Frequently Asked Questions

The overall dimensions of the ALU-SLD-3 frame are 2660 mm wide by 2072 mm high. The height of the transparent glass is 1942 mm, and the width of the opening is 2470 mm. The aluminium frame profile measures 95 mm on each side.

The frame is painted in RAL 7016 anthracite grey. Please contact us if you require information on alternative finishes.

The doors are glazed with 4 mm tempered transparent glass. Tempered glass is considerably stronger than standard glass, but if it breaks, it breaks in small, blunt pieces rather than sharp ones.

ALU-SLD-3 is suitable for most constructions where a 2660 × 2072 mm frame can be accommodated in the wall opening.

The doors are supplied with an aluminium frame, three sliding glass leaves and a spruce body with rubber sealing. Availability and delivery times can be confirmed upon request.

Yes. The aluminium frame is coated with a durable RAL 7016 coating suitable for outdoor conditions and the spruce body is fitted with a rubber gasket to ensure weathertight sealing against the surrounding wall structure. For best long-term performance, the timber of the enclosure shall be treated and maintained in accordance with best timber care practices.
