GW-3 is a premium tilt and turn wooden window designed for wooden summerhouses and garden cabins that require reliable thermal performance and weather resistance. This window, made of 68 mm thick glued pine, offers excellent structural stability.
Performance and longevity
Two 4mm tempered glass panes are separated by a 16mm chamber (4+16+4) filled with argon gas, which insulates heat better than air. One pane has an ultra-thin Low-E coating to reflect heat and reduce heat loss. A silicone sealant helps keep the glass unit airtight and moisture-proof throughout its lifetime. GW-3 is therefore suitable for use in insulated garden buildings designed for year-round living.
Premium Accessories
The opening mechanism is delivered by MACO, a recognised European brand for metal products. The window opens inwards. A black metal sill protects the lower finish from rain splashes and ground moisture, while rubber sealing around the perimeter reduces air permeability. The spruce wood surrounds are factory-sealed with rubber, so no additional sealing is required on-site.
Compatible with DSHouse wooden houses
GW-3 is perfectly compatible with DSHouse wooden buildings. Spruce wood casings with rubber sealing help the window fit snugly into the log wall openings and reduce draughts. Windows can be delivered as part of a building kit or on their own.
