GDD-1 is a premium outward-opening double-leaf door for use in wooden garden buildings. Made of 68 mm thick laminated pine, the construction is robust and durable. The natural Nordic timber aesthetic is perfectly suited to DSHouse wooden houses.
Performance and Safety
GD-3 doors are supplied with a quality 3-point locking mechanism from MACO, a European manufacturer of door and window hardware. The multi-point closure improves security and presses the door evenly against the box in several places, resulting in a tighter seal.
Thermal Performance and Durability
Two 4 mm tempered glass plates are separated by a 16 mm cavity (4+16+4) filled with argon gas, which provides better insulation than air. One layer of glass has a microscopically thin coating that reflects heat, improving energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer (LowE). A silicone sealant ensures that the window remains airtight and watertight throughout its lifetime. The frame of the spruce is finished with rubber sealing.
Sizes and Delivery
The door has a width of 1854 mm and a height of 2072 mm (overall frame size) and the opening has a width of 1508 mm and a height of 1826 mm. All components are supplied as pre-assembled, ready-for-installation units.
