Size and Frame
This carport, measuring 5.95 metres long by 4.18 metres wide, is supported by six sturdy poles (120 mm squared), providing space for one standard car or several motorcycles and bicycles. The solid timber frame ensures long-lasting stability. Wooden brackets on each pole provide additional durability and visual appeal.
Apex Roof
The apex roof has a traditional 15-degree angle, covering approximately 30 m² of land, including overhangs. The design effectively channels rainwater to both sides. The height at the entrances is 2.07 metres, reaching 2.86 metres at the central aisle. The roof frame structure is made of sturdy wooden beams (44 mm × 145 mm). Tongue and groove boards (18 mm × 88 mm) form a weatherproof roof surface, while a ridge board protects the roof peak. Edge boards (18 mm) reinforce the perimeter.
Manufacturing
The carport is made of thick Nordic spruce timber. This type of wood is valued for its dense grain structure, stability and natural ability to resist moisture. The timber is precision sawn using computerised machinery, which means that every part fits together perfectly during assembly.
Delivery and Assembly
The carport is delivered as a flat-pack kit in waterproof packaging. It can be stored outdoors until installation. Each part is clearly labelled, and detailed, illustrated instructions are included in the kit, so assembly is easy using common household tools. For stability and longevity, the structure must be fixed to a concrete base.
