ALU-SLD-4 is a three-piece aluminium sliding door ideal for premium wooden garden cabins and other wooden structures. Combining a robust aluminium frame with a spruce case and rubber sealing, it offers both an attractive appearance and reliable weather protection.

Premium Aluminium Sliding Door for Timber Structures

ALU-SLD-4 is a sliding door on rails with a width of 2660 mm and a height of 2072 mm. This door creates a spectacular light-filled opening that connects indoor and outdoor areas.

The frame and all door leaves are finished in RAL7016 anthracite grey, one of the most sought-after contemporary colour choices for garden offices, lounges and other structures. The rubber seals incorporated in the body of the spruce ensure weathertight sealing.

Tempered double glazing meets both security and thermal performance requirements, making these doors suitable for cottages that are used all year round. ALU-SLD-4 is supplied ready for installation and is compatible with DSHouse timber building systems.

The surrounding cladding is made of spruce wood, providing a natural transition between the aluminium door unit and the wooden building wall. Integrated rubber around the perimeter creates a weathertight seal.

The overall dimensions of the ALU-SLD-4 frame are 2660 mm in width and 2072 mm in height. The free sliding clearance between the fixed side profiles is 2470 mm.

All aluminium components are factory-painted in RAL7016 anthracite grey.

ALU-SLD-4 features tempered double glazing that provides better thermal insulation than single glazing and meets safety standards. For buildings with a high degree of thermal insulation that are used all year round, performance should be assessed in conjunction with the wall system and the overall building specifications.

The surrounding casing is made of spruce timber and is fitted with a rubber sealing element to create a weathertight connection between the door unit and the wall opening. This helps to prevent draughts and water ingress around the perimeter.

Spruce is a natural timber material, so the texture and grain of the timber can vary. This is considered a natural property of the material and not a defect.

ALU-SLD-4 is designed to be integrated into various DSHouse timber structures, including the Faxwerk premium modular system and the Frame building series, as well as standard log cabins. Compatibility with a specific construction should be specified at the time of order.
